A curious kitten approached Severin and Nicole as they traveled through Croatia in their van. The little feline leaped into their arms and seemed to be asking to come along on their journey. They quickly named her Molin and decided to bring her along with them.
While searching for cat food for their new furry companion, the couple found themselves in a deserted part of town as the sun set. As they wandered through an empty apartment complex, they were surprised to hear meowing coming from behind them.

“We looked back and spotted a tiny black kitten hurrying towards us,” Severin recalled to Love Meow.
The kitten approached a couple and leaped into their arms.
Curling up on Nicole’s lap, the kitten affectionately nestled into her embrace. Before long, she found her spot under Nicole’s jacket, clearly feeling at home. “There was no sign of any other cats or a mother nearby, and the kitten needed assistance, particularly food.”
The little ball of purrs was clearly malnourished and craving affection. She clung onto her newfound caretakers as they rushed to the store to gather supplies. “She was so hungry that she attempted to snack on the packaging (before we could even open it).”
After a satisfying meal, the couple brought the kitten back to their van. Though they didn’t come across the stray cat they’d encountered earlier, they now had a tiny companion clinging to them for safety. “She drifted off to sleep in Nicole’s arms, feeling secure and content,” Severin recounted to Love Meow.
That evening, the rain poured and the wind howled outside the van. “We shuddered to think what might have befallen this little one if we hadn’t stumbled upon her.”

The following day, they returned to the spot where they discovered the kitten, but no one was there looking for her. After checking with an animal shelter and a vet, it became evident that the little kitty was homeless.
“We made the decision to adopt her and gave her the name Molin, inspired by ‘molim,’ which means ‘please’ in Croatian.”

“Molin actually chose us to be her new family, so she joined us on our journey to the next destination.”
While in Albania, the couple took Molin for a stroll along the beach, and to their surprise, she kept pace with them, closely following along. “That’s when we realized that she wanted to be by our side all the time.”

“She behaves almost like a dog, craving our attention and sticking close to us at every moment. Molin enjoys going for walks, playing in the sand, and even bringing wood sticks back to our caravan,” Severin shared with Love Meow.

Molin is always by the side of her beloved family when they go on adventures, never letting them out of her sight. Whenever she’s tired of walking, she hitches a ride on their shoulders or gets carried around. Known as @nosameday, this adventurous kitten has explored eight countries with her family and is always up for new experiences. At the end of the day, she snuggles up to her humans and purrs herself to sleep, grateful for their love and companionship.

Molin starts her day promptly at seven in the morning, bounding around the bed like a furry little alarm clock. With her favorite toys in tow, she’s ready to play. As she watches the world outside through the lifted window shades, the morning sun gently warming her fur, she eventually nods off to sleep again.
Molin, our adorable panther kitty, reminds us daily of the trust and love she has for us, expressing endless gratitude for welcoming her into our lives. Her presence has added a new depth and meaning to our journey, and we feel incredibly fortunate that she has chosen us as her humans.
