The Heartwarming Story of a Puppy Who Made a Lonely Widow’s Life Brighter

It’s tough to decide who’s adorable between the 93-year-old Sally and the 1-year-old Brody; as a pair, they are simply delightful to see. Sally lost her spouse in 1990 and has been living next to Dave Mazarella in Mt. Vernon, Washington, for fifteen years now. She has been acquainted with all of his dogs but never felt as emotionally attached to any of them as she does to Mazarella’s one-year-old Saint Bernard, Brody.

Sally wasted no time in informing TODAY that Brody, who boasts a massive following on Instagram, had already dropped by for a visit earlier in the day.

Sally confidently declared that the guy who came with Dave visited her early this morning. According to her, he is a lovely person who she shared a crust of bread with for breakfast. Brody gets to see Sally many times during the day and it’s evident that they bring joy into each other’s lives.

According to Mazarella, Brody used to visit her house aimlessly until his owner started giving him snacks. From that moment on, their relationship blossomed, and the two are now inseparable. They attend church together, keep up with current events, and even read the newspaper side by side.

Sally expressed with joy, “As soon as Brody notices me, he becomes ecstatic. Dave believes it’s due to my voice that Brody adores me.” Sally moved to Washington in 1952, but her childhood was spent on a farm in Holland where she developed an affection for animals.

Sally is a mother of four, but unfortunately only one of her children lives close by. Despite the distance between them, Sally makes sure to keep in touch with all of her children regularly. They all share a special bond and cherish the beautiful moments captured in photos of Sally and Brody together, just like the rest of us.

The delightful pair of happiness and contentment never fail to brighten up our day, and Sally believes that her amiable nature has played a significant role in blessing her with a fulfilling and extended life.

According to her, her father always expressed that she was his first child and a source of happiness since her birth. Despite facing challenges on some occasions, she manages to overcome them successfully.
