For instance, when Kane, an 18-year-old Pittie, arrived at the shelter, his chances of being adopted were slim.

This furry friend was in need of a family that could take care of him properly due to his age. He had some health issues such as blindness in one eye, poor eyesight in the other, and severe arthritis, which required regular medical attention. Despite all of this, he deserved a loving home, although it was becoming increasingly difficult to manage his medical expenses as he got older.
