According to an anonymous source who spoke with In Touch Weekly, Kody Brown is reportedly struggling with the recent decisions made by his ex-wife Christine Brown. Specifically, she recently said yes to a marriage proposal from David Woolley, which she shared on Instagram in mid-April. The couple has been together since late 2022, just over a year since Christine left her plural marriage to Kody. Despite Christine’s excitement, it seems Kody is having difficulty adjusting to this new development in his ex-wife’s life.

Christine and David have recently bought a home in Lehi, Utah for $770,000. They are currently living together with Christine and Kody’s 13-year old daughter, Truely. However, Kody is reportedly not pleased with the situation and is angry about his daughter living with a man he perceives as a stranger. According to a tabloid source, this is simply about Kody wanting to maintain control over Christine and finding any reason to criticize her decisions.

Woolley has warmly welcomed Christine and her six children into his life. In May, Brown shared a series of photos on her social media account showing Woolley, herself, and Truely having a great time at Disneyland in California. Although it’s unclear how Kody feels about the pictures, it’s unlikely that he was thrilled to see them appear on his feed. The caption that accompanied the images read, “We had an amazing time at California Adventure and Disneyland! Club 33 was fantastic!” One of the photos even featured Christine, David, and Truely all smiling together.

According to Christine, she decided to leave Kody primarily because he was not a good parent. On a podcast last December, she revealed that for years she would assure her children that their father loved them and wanted to spend time with them, but eventually they stopped believing her. She could see in their eyes that they no longer trusted her words.

During a podcast, the Sister Wives personality shared that leaving Kody was necessary for her children’s well-being. It’s difficult for Christine because she wants her kids to have a healthy relationship with their dad and not suffer from “daddy issues.” But she acknowledged that Kody is missing out on knowing his “phenomenal” and “amazing” children.
