From Garbage to Grace: The Joyful Transformation of Rescued Kittens

A bunch of charming little kittens were saved from their stray existence on the bustling city streets on September 10, 2018.

According to a post on the Facebook page @carfanimalrelief, the young animals were discovered as strays in the 5000 block of S. Paulina Street. They were then transported to the Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) for safekeeping.

A bunch of cute little kittens were recently found hidden underneath the entrance steps, buried under a heap of rubbish. The discovery was made thanks to the Car Fanimal Relief’s Facebook page.

These small felines were in a critical situation as their folks were nowhere to be found. They were believed to be only one month old and needed round-the-clock support from professional foster guardians due to their vulnerable state. Fortunately, on September 15th, the Critical Animal Relief Foundation (CARF) intervened and saved them from an imminent death. This bunch of kitties was affectionately named “The Seven Dwarves.”

On the Facebook page @carfanimalrelief, a touching tale has been shared about a litter of seven adorable kittens. These sweet babies needed round-the-clock care which included bottle feeding, cleaning, and lots of encouragement after each meal. Although it was quite a hefty task, taking care of these little furry creatures proved to be an incredible experience for whoever was up to the challenge! Luckily, two seasoned caretakers stepped forward and offered to take the kittens in to their own homes. The duo made sure to separate them into smaller groups so that each caretaker could tend to their specific set of siblings. This ensured that the kittens could continue growing together, an essential factor in their development. All in all, this heartwarming story serves as a testament to the love and devotion required for animal care.

@carfanimalrelief’s Facebook page highlighted the risks that young abandoned cats on the streets face. A recent case involved a litter of kittens that were discovered in a dire state. They were malnourished, dehydrated, and plagued with fleas. Furthermore, there was a possibility that they may have undiagnosed medical problems as illnesses could have an incubation period. The kittens were separated from other cats to prevent any potential infections. Despite this, being in animal control still placed them at risk of acquiring unidentified diseases that could further jeopardize their health.

Saving kittens can be a bumpy ride filled with emotions. Sadly, one of the little ones didn’t make it on a Sunday morning. Nonetheless, the six remaining cats are doing great in their temporary home with foster parents. CARF took to Facebook to provide an update and confirm that the surviving kittens are in excellent health and spirits. They’re having a blast exploring their new surroundings and exhibiting positive signs for the future.

The cats had a chance to flaunt their distinctive personalities, thanks to the safe and secure temporary shelters provided. Foster parents shared beautiful pictures of their feline babies on CARF’s Facebook page. The organization received generous donations from devoted supporters to aid these furry siblings. Eventually, these cute kittens will be available for adoption via CARF’s official website.
