Twinkle, a canine who had been with her adoptive family for four months, was brought back to the rescue facility because she preferred to sleep in bed with her new parents. Twinkle was discovered wandering the streets of Miami in June and was taken to Mission where she received the necessary attention and affection, despite being underweight and having decayed teeth.
Lisa Letson, the founder and president of True and Faithful Pet Rescue Mission, revealed that the cute dog had to go through surgery and spent a few weeks at the veterinarian’s clinic to recover. As she recuperated, she gained weight and turned into an adorable furry companion. Fortunately, Lisa shared that the pooch found a caring family in September and was adopted by them. The family appeared to be a perfect match for the lovable dog.
Over the festive period, the rescue center was contacted by email from Twinkle’s previous owners. They had only had her for four months but stated their intention to give her up. The reason? Apparently, Twinkle was too noisy at night and insisted on sharing their bed. This didn’t go down well with the family’s older Chihuahuas who preferred their own space. Sadly, they felt that Twinkle wasn’t a good fit and returned her to the rescue center.
Madison Mulvihill, the social media coordinator of True and Faithful Pet Rescue, reports that Twinkle was in a state of shock and bewilderment. Upon entering the main dog room, Mulvihill observed Twinkle sitting alone in a corner on a dog bed, visibly isolated and trembling with fear. The pup had a perplexed look on her face, and it was clear that she was deeply saddened by the situation. The owners had unceremoniously dropped her off over the fence upon her return, leaving Twinkle feeling abandoned and alone. Throughout her time at the shelter, Twinkle kept turning back to the fence, as if trying to comprehend why anyone would treat her in such a cruel manner.
All Twinkle wanted was to spend a warm and comfortable evening with her family, but circumstances didn’t allow it. This made her really sad, and the rescue team felt the same way. They had developed a special affection for her since the time she was brought in, and the thought of someone abandoning such an adorable creature was hard to fathom.
According to Mulvihill, Twinkle is not only cute but also has an endearing personality, despite weighing only three and a half pounds. She relishes being the center of attention and will seek out your affection if she desires it. Observing her dance-like movements on the grassy meadows of the ranch can be a delightful experience, and she adores cuddles. Furthermore, she gets along well with other canines and is adept at walking on a leash. If Twinkle craves a rubdown, she will signal you by pawing your hand.
A video of Twinkle, a rescue dog, was posted on TikTok by her companions when she returned to the shelter. Their hope was to find someone who could relate to her story and potentially adopt her. The video unexpectedly went viral and caught the attention of many people on the internet. As a result, Twinkle received numerous adoption inquiries, and she is now ready to go to her forever home. Her new family consists of a king-size bed and six other dogs, providing Twinkle with all the love and affection she deserves. Mulvihill, the caretaker, believes that Twinkle will finally experience genuine love and live happily with her new family. For Twinkle, finding someone who accepts her for who she is and reciprocates her love is all she’s ever wanted.
