While in her back garden, Jazmin Felder was alerted by a faint meowing sound emanating from a tree. Upon investigating, she stumbled upon a stray tabby, and instantly realized that the time had come to expand her already-existing feline family.
Jazmine shares that she grew up with a strong sense of responsibility, and this translated into how she treated the cats that came into her life. Whenever a feline approached her doorstep, she welcomed them with open arms and showered them with affection. One day, a tabby cat caught her attention, and she decided to bring him in and name him Buddy. However, after a while, Jazmine noticed that Buddy was different from her other cats. He preferred to keep to himself, even when it came to nap time.
Felder believed that Buddy would never socialize with anyone until a new member came into the family, turning everything around. After six months since Buddy’s arrival, a tiny five-week-old kitten named Hannah was abandoned under a nearby house. Jazmine rescued her and gave her a home, despite already having five rescue cats. Adding another one to the family wasn’t a big deal for Felder. As soon as Hannah arrived, Buddy’s behavior changed. They became inseparable best friends despite having contrasting personalities. Buddy was introverted and reserved while Hannah was friendly and outgoing.
The moment we brought Hannah the kitten home, Buddy’s reserved and shy personality completely transformed. He immediately went to see her and they have been inseparable ever since. It’s heartwarming to see them groom each other and embrace for comfort. Their bond goes beyond just showing affection through grooming, as they hug and comfort each other in a way that makes it clear they are the best of friends.
Whenever visitors come over, they can’t help but envy the love shared by Buddy and Hannah. According to Jazmine, their tight hugs and cuddles are a testament to their genuine fondness for each other. Felder also observed how Buddy would selflessly offer food to Hannah before eating himself. Meanwhile, the two enjoy playing with cat toys and engaging in friendly races up the stairs, with Buddy likely letting Hannah emerge victorious.
In addition to his close bond with Hannah, Buddy has also formed friendly relationships with the other feline companions.
