A group of five adorable little cat cow babies hatched at the same time, and immediately felt safe and secure in their surroundings.
Upon discovery, a litter of five kittens was brought to the Humane Society for Hamilton County in Indiana. The unfortunate felines were found outside without a mother, abandoned by a barn cat who never returned. Kelsey Minier, a kind-hearted volunteer from the shelter, recounted that they were unsocialized and hence terrified when they arrived. They even hissed collectively whenever anyone approached them. To make them feel safe and comfortable, Kelsey provided them with a quiet space to relax and decompress while ensuring they had ample food at their disposal.
Upon their arrival at the foster home of Kelsey Minier, the four-week-old kittens displayed an extremely reserved demeanor. All five of them shared black and white markings similar to those found on cows. They were noticeably nervous and stayed together huddled in a corner, seeking comfort and security from one another.
However, Kelsey recognized that the kittens were simply afraid and required some time to become comfortable and confident. With patience and understanding, Gal Galloway, Angus, Holly Holstein, Dexter, and Blue gradually became more outgoing and started to open up.
According to Kelsey Minier, it wasn’t until a few days had passed that the kittens finally began to feel comfortable around her. To win their trust, she made sure to spend time holding each one individually and giving them lots of affection. It wasn’t until one brave kitten approached her that the others decided to follow suit and come to her for cuddles and pets. In the end, they all learned to trust their foster mom and feel safe in her arms.
When Kelsey Minier enters the room where her pets are kept, she greets them in a friendly tone and says “Good morning” regardless of the time of day. She has established a routine that includes feeding her pets things they enjoy, which has contributed to a more positive environment. As a result, her pets no longer hiss at her and eagerly come to her when they know she is present.
Kelsey Minier shared how a group of kittens that were once scared and timid have become playful, confident, and loving in just a week. The adorable video showcases how the five cow kittens are now fighting over who gets to sit on Kelsey’s lap and climb up to her shoulders, making them irresistible cuddle buddies. According to Kelsey, the kittens’ transformation is truly heartwarming and rewarding.
The kittens are now more self-assured and are seen frolicking around their play area frequently. Despite their fondness for dozing together, some of them have started exploring beyond their comfort zone. Their mealtimes have become livelier as a few kitties have found their voice. With access to cozy beds, velvety blankets, nutritious food, and an abundance of love, these felines are living the good life.
Kelsey Minier reported that the cow kitties no longer have to brave the outdoors alone as they are being well taken care of in foster homes. The cute felines are thriving and seem to be enjoying their new environment, playing around their room and leaping onto high places for fun. These adorable creatures have achieved some notable milestones and their unique personalities are gradually coming to the fore.
Kelsey Minier has five delightful kittens who show nothing but love towards their human companions. These adorable little creatures have left behind their hissing tendencies and now shower their people with affectionate kisses. In just a matter of weeks, they will be well-prepared to find their loving forever homes, where they can enjoy the comfort of being pampered as indoor cats.
